Trillium Resort // Muskoka Wedding Photography

Sarah and Allison celebrated with family, friends, and Frank the dog in the Muskokas at Trillium Resort and Spa, a place near and dear to their family. On a late summer day that was just the right temperature under the bright sun these two tied the knot overlooking Devine Lake.  The archway and flowers were all designed by the couple's friends!

Stephanie and Dan celebrated their wedding at The Boulevard Room in the north end of Toronto.  We snapped our group shots at the nearby Glen Shields Park and capped off the evening with great evening light and a dance floor that was a hit with the young'uns. St. Basils Church // Brantford Wedding Photography

Shelley and Al and are the lucky few who don't have to go far for a rustic farm wedding, they can just host in their backyard.  Affectionately named Shelley's Acres with a matching sign Al made and presented at their reception, this lovely farm setting with its bustling stable of Shelley's sociable horses was the perfect reception venue for guests to relax after the ceremony at St. Basil's Church in Brantford.  Shelley's horses are awesome, so if you love horses at weddings you'll love this post.

2nd Floor Events Wedding Photography // Toronto Wedding Photography

Cory and Gill had their lovely fall wedding at 2nd Floor Events on King St. W. in Toronto - following some getting ready photos at the nearby Hyatt Regency hotel and a quick photo stop at Milkman's Lane in the Don Valley to take in the fall colours.  Fall weather can be difficult to predict in Toronto but they lucked out and had sunny, warm weather to enjoy while we shot photos of family and the wedding party.

Kincardine Beach Pavillion Wedding // Kincardine Wedding Photography

Diane and Adam's wedding took place on the shores of Lake Huron in the town of Kincardine - where Diane's family homestead used to be - far from the Olympic bobsled track where these two met.  The revitalized Kincardine Beach Pavillion hosted the wedding party - perfectly situated with access to the Kincardine pier, beach, and lakeside gardens.  A shifting dramatic mix of sun and cloud provided for some stellar photos down by the water.

Argonaut Rowing Club Wedding // Toronto Wedding Photography

Lucas and Echo's wedding was held along Lake Ontario at the wonderfully-placed Argonaut Rowing club, offering lake views and cool breezes on a warm summer day.  Inside, friends and family assembled the DIY decor to add a pop of colour to the bright and airy hall, and you'll even see Echo and her sibling's weekend paint project - a floral mural design, turning the construction hoarding around the club's new staircase into an art piece.  And of course, what a better treat for a wedding photographer than a pair of swans floating down by the dock.

Knollwood Golf Course Wedding // Brantford Wedding Photography

Carolyn and Kyle's wedding at Ancaster, Ontario's Knollwood Golf Course was fun from start to finish. With pre-ceremony accommodation on-site for bride (+bride's maids) and groom (+groom's men), there was a festive atmosphere in the air from the moment everyone awoke. A lovely outdoor ceremony - complete with some very enthusiastic petal tossing - was followed by heartfelt speeches from guests young and old, and memorable dance moves by these two teachers' friends and families.

Linda and Nick celebrated their wedding with friends and family from far and wide - gathering at The Manor north of the city. Nick and the boys suited up in Liberty Village, popping by the local pub - LOCAL with an on-the-house round from the manager and a great message on their massive flip board. Meanwhile, summer light flooded the upper ready-room of the manor where the bridesmaids and flower girls prepped for the ceremony.

Brantford Golf and Country Club // Brantford Wedding Photography

Photographed with a great view of the Grand River, Paula and Simon had their wedding photos taken on the overlook by the Brantford Golf and Country Club.  The stately St. Basil's Church hosted the ceremony with it's bright and airy nave the perfect spot to walk down the aisle.  From Brantford to Brampton, guests whisked around the golden horseshoe to be greeted by a full Polish band at Millennium Gardens for the celebratory feast.

Archeo Wedding Photography in the Distillery District - Toronto

Tracey and Matt tied the knot in the ever popular Distillery District tucked into the outdoor courtyard at Archeo.  Rain in the days beforehand had made the initial photo spot I mentioned nearby at Cherry Beach a mucky mess so we opted to stay at the storied King Edward Hotel to take photos inside their multi-level lobby.  The 1903 grand hotel has real old-world elegance and also made a great staging spot for Tracey and Matt to get prepped in the morning.   Although still plenty busy in the fall on a weekend evening - we managed to grab some great clean shots about the Distillery Districts cobblestones and brick.

One of the first summer weddings of 2016, this black, white & green affair was a fantastic way to kick off the season. Taking place at Cambridge, Ontario's Langdon Hall and  Whistle Bear Golf Club, the day was complete with golf cart rides for the wedding party, a live band to remember, and a party for the books!

It may have been a cold day, but the warmth of Becky and Terry's love kept things cozy. Their classic wedding ceremony at Brantford's St. Basil Parish was followed by a dance party for the ages at the Hellenic Centre, which had their guests working up a sweat despite the cool temperatures!

Distillery District Wedding Photography - Toronto

The day got off to an early start for Kayla and Konstantin's brunch wedding. From watching the sunrise at Toronto's downtown Radison hotel, we headed over to the city's historic distillery district where a ceremony at Archeo was made complete by a visit from the couple's adorable dog, Hulk. Wedding decor by Kayla's friend Annie over at Twill and Thistle made the reception a joy to photograph and the cake was a joy to eat. (Who doesn't love cake for breakfast?)

Brooklyn Borough Hall Wedding Photography // NYC Wedding Photos

Photographing Mitch and Minju's New York City elopement was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. These longtime lovebirds met in Toronto, fell in love in Montreal, and tied the knot at Brooklyn Borough Hall in a ceremony just for two. Their intimate day was amazing to behold, complete with ice cream, public art installations, and a kiss atop the Brooklyn Bridge. Watching them receive congratulatory texts from friends and family across North America, it was clear that love surrounded them from afar. I know their marriage will be every bit as awesome and unique as their wonderful wedding day. It was truly a privilege to be part of such an intimate affair!
